Job summary

Crane Currency in Nashua, NH is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to improve how our products are made, supporting continuous improvement projects and lean initiatives. You will focus on maximizing yield, reducing downtime, and developing reliable production processes while collaborating with R&D, Operations, Quality, EH&S, Supply Chain, and Process Excellence.

The role combines technical problem-solving, data analysis, and creativity to make measurable impacts on manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or commensurate experience.
• 3–5+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis, statistics, and applied mathematics skills.
• Experience with Minitab software, process mapping, and capability analysis.
• Basic project management skills with self-directed project experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive and facilitate continuous improvement projects.
• Develop process standards, including statistical process control opportunities.
• Improve product quality by reducing variability, downtime, and increasing yield.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve methods and resolve quality issues.
• Create standardized work instructions for high-quality production.
• Reduce waste, improve equipment utilization, and lower cost of quality.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, suppliers, R&D, and management.
• Work closely with operators to understand issues affecting quality and efficiency.
