Avancez Assembly in Hazel Park, Michigan is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop assembly processes and manage equipment selection and project timing. You will resolve issues related to quality plans and manufacturability while driving adoption of new technologies for greater efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 3+ years in assembly/manufacturing with 2+ years in APQP. Travel is minimal. Join a team focused on excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing and 2+ years with APQP required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed manufacturing plans for new programs requiring new equipment or retooling existing equipment.
• Prepare sourcing activities from RFQ to PO for major outside tooling and equipment purchases.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineer to drive PFMEA, Reverse PFMEA, Control Plans and ensure robust manufacturing systems.
• Coordinate with PC&L to optimize material flow to production line.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement new processes and achieve throughput improvements.
