Job summary

Avancez Assembly is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop assembly processes based on customer requirements and quality systems. You will manage new process implementation, equipment selection, and timelines while collaborating across teams to improve throughput and quality.

The role emphasizes automation, robotics, and alignment with PFMEA/Control Plans, with minimal travel and potential supervisory duties in a growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing and 2+ years with APQP.
• Supervisory experience in the manufacturing field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed manufacturing plans for new programs requiring new equipment or retooling.
• Prepare RFQ to PO sourcing for major outside tooling and equipment purchases.
• Coordinate with PC&L to optimize material flow to production line.
• Ensure equipment certification, run-off, and feedback to leadership.
• Maintain process integrity by updating policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Quality to drive PFMEA, Control Plans, and error-proofing into design.
