Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Peoria, IL to troubleshoot daily process problems, implement solutions, and validate results. You will identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and support NPI with timely release of drawings and processes.

The role requires Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and experience with assembly manufacturing. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining shop floor processes, routings, BOM/MBOM, tooling, and ergonomic considerations, plus analyzing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing/engineering field.
• Experience in an assembly manufacturing environment is required.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma concepts and IPVs.
• Ability to learn and manage new computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day process problems and validate solutions.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve safety, quality, velocity and cost.
• Support NPI to ensure timely release of drawings and processes.
• Develop and maintain shop floor processes, routings, BOM/MBOM, tooling and ergonomic requirements.
• Analyze and recommend improvements based on shop floor feedback.
