Job summary

The role is roughly 75% shop floor and 25% desk work, with an annual salary of $90,000 to $115,000 based on experience. Responsibilities include resolving production issues, leading capital projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Industrial manufacturing experience with fabrication, welding, CNC machining, or assembly.
• Root cause analysis and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working directly on the production floor.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
• Experience manufacturing a physical product is required; transportation or distribution experience alone will not qualify.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production and resolve process issues and bottlenecks
• Identify improvements related to safety, quality, scrap, productivity, and cost
• Create and update work instructions, PFMEAs, and control plans
• Support equipment and machining troubleshooting without performing maintenance repairs
• Lead capital projects from planning through installation and production startup
• Partner with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and updates
