Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Industrial manufacturing experience with fabrication, welding, CNC machining, or assembly.
• Root cause analysis and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working directly on the production floor.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
• Experience manufacturing a physical product is required; transportation or distribution experience alone will not qualify.

We are partnering with a leading manufacturer of electrical products and utility solutions in the Leeds, AL area to hire a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer. This role is approximately 75% shop floor and 25% desk work, supporting a high-mix, low-volume operation involving metal fabrication, welding, CNC processing, and assembly.

• PLC, automation, and robotics experience
• Lean manufacturing experience
• SAP, Autodesk Inventor, or SolidWorks experience
• Experience with PFMEAs, control plans, or capital equipment projects
• 5% annual incentive based on personal and company performance
