Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing engineering experience or 5 years with certification.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and tooling; confer with vendors and operators.
• Develop manufacturing processes by researching, designing, modifying, and testing methods and equipment.
• Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repairs with technicians; follow manufacturer instructions.
• Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods and establishing standards.
• Coordinate training on equipment and sign off on operator usage and safety.
• Apply lean manufacturing to improve quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare product and process reports by collecting and analyzing data.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain documentation.
• Hit plant throughput metrics and coordinate cross-functional work.
• Lead Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
