Job summary

Generac Power Systems seeks an Industrial Engineer to drive process improvements across the value chain, leading NPI launches and supporting manufacturing method enhancements. You will implement policies and documentation to sustain continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

The role requires collaboration with shop floor teams, lean knowledge, and CAD/PLM tool proficiency to optimize layouts, equipment justification, and production flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial technology.
• 1–3 years of related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within operations.
• Contribute to facility transformation, technology transfer and ongoing maintenance of mixed model lines or value streams.
• Ensure ongoing success of process improvement initiatives by implementing policies and process documentation.
• Implement demand driven principles and strategies that support operational excellence and long-range plans.
• Ensure product, material and information streams flow and are synchronized to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Work closely with shop floor personnel to promote continuous improvement of manufacturing methods, systems and controls.
