Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant degree required.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience preferred, strongly preferring automotive domains such as Body in White, Paint, and Assembly.
• Knowledge of production methods, procedures, and process automation for continuous improvement.
• Ability to present complex technical information and motivate teams at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plans and designs manufacturing processes in an industrial plant.
• Improve production methods, determine manufacturing capacity, and set up production schedules.
• Provides support in machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and material handling.
• Manage the implementation of continuous improvement processes for Lean manufacturing and efficiency.
• Investigates problems, analyzes root causes, and derives resolutions using structured problem solving.
• Develops operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.
• Ensures product and process quality through testing methods and standards.
• Participates in budget planning and monitors expenses and profitability.
• Writes specifications; evaluates supplier quotations.
• Designs and implements medium to large-scale manufacturing processes and feasibility of changes.
• Provides guidance to junior engineers and may deputize for Production Manager.
