Laars Heating Systems in Rochester, NH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate requirements, make recommendations, and lead Lean, Safety, Quality and Productivity improvement projects.

You will develop and implement new manufacturing processes, review part prints for manufacturability, perform ROI analyses for supplier selection, and create SOPs, PFMEA, and Process Control Plans. Collaboration across design, quality, and maintenance is essential to deliver robust processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5-10 years of experience in fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and related techniques.
• Ability to read prints and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies to support strategic objectives.
• Manage updates and modifications to existing processes for new product launches; review parts and manufacturability.
• Create cost comparisons and ROI analyses for supplier selection.
• Act as SME for interdepartmental projects and initiatives.
• Create standardized processes with documentation to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Partner with quality to create control plans and quality checks for robust processes.
• Provide training and support to production personnel on troubleshooting and equipment operation.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, PFMEA, PC Plans; generate reports on process performance.
• Collaborate across design, production, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
