Job summary

Laars Heating Systems seeks a Product Quality Engineer to drive proactive quality improvements in boiler and water heater manufacturing. You will analyze quality data, lead root cause analyses, and develop control plans and process validation to prevent defects and reduce costs.

Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Procurement, Service, and suppliers to strengthen upstream process control, PPAP/first article activities, and supplier quality performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Six Sigma green/black belt preferred.
• Experience with structured problem solving (8D, A3, 5-Why, DMAIC).
• Demonstrated knowledge of SPC, gauge R&R, and process capability studies.

Responsibilities

• Drive measurable quality improvements across boiler and water heater manufacturing.
• Lead CAPA/SCAR processes and root cause analyses.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Service to improve process control.
