Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5–10 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices and techniques.
• Ability to read prints and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and SolidWorks.
• Experience leading Kaizen initiatives.
• Strong continuous improvement and problem-solving skills.
• Effective cross-functional communication.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies.
• Manage updates to existing processes for new product launches and review prints for manufacturability.
• Create cost comparisons and ROI calculations for supplier selection.
• Act as SME for interdepartmental projects and initiatives.
• Create standardized processes and documentation for quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with quality to create control plans and quality checks.
• Provide training and support to production personnel.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, PFMEA, Process Control Plans and reports.
• Cross-functional collaboration to resolve process issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance for major equipment changes.
