Allient Inc. in Tulsa, OK is actively seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve production performance through lean methods and engineering support. The role focuses on quality, productivity and on-time delivery with cross-functional collaboration across the facility.

The Manufacturing Engineer contributes to waste reduction by applying engineering knowledge and lean principles and participates in continuous improvement initiatives and new product introductions.

Qualifications

• BA degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Automation experience.
• 0–8 years of work experience; internship/co-op acceptable.
• Lean manufacturing experience in a production setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Establishes root cause and corrective action plans for customer quality concerns and ensures timely resolution.
• Leads production teams to resolve process and product performance issues affecting productivity and On Time Delivery.
• Identifies and eliminates bottlenecks and barriers to one-piece flow.
• Works with internal and external suppliers to ensure materials meet requirements.
• Leads cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing processes for new products.
• Develops and maintains production documentation including standard work and process procedures.
• Supports design with input on manufacturing process capability during new product development.
• Supports Operation Excellence continuous improvement projects.
• Identifies and mitigates potential safety hazards.
• Manages Engineering Change Requests for product and process improvements.
