Job summary

Allient Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. You will drive operational performance in quality, productivity, and on-time delivery by applying lean manufacturing principles and engineering knowledge.

You will lead cross-functional teams, tackle root causes, optimize processes, and develop standard work while supporting design during new product introductions. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and safety on the production floor.

Qualifications

• BA degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Automation experience.
• 0-8 years of work experience; internship and co-op experience considered.
• Experience with Lean implementation in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Establishes root cause and corrective action plans for customer quality concerns.
• Leads production teams to resolve manufacturing process and product performance issues affecting productivity and On Time Delivery.
• Identifies and eliminates barriers to one piece flow and bottlenecks.
• Works with internal & external suppliers to ensure materials meet design and quality requirements.
• Leads cross functional teams to develop & implement new manufacturing processes for new products.
• Develops, updates and maintains production documentation including standard work and procedures.
• Supports design with input on manufacturing process capability during new product development.
• Supports operations excellence as active participant in continuous improvement projects.
• Identifies and eliminates potential safety hazards.
• Processes Engineering Change Requests for continuous product and process improvement.
