Job summary

Propell, a VoltaGrid company, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve processes, tooling, and workflows on the Granbury, TX production floor. You will provide hands-on support for machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly, and drive automated manufacturing initiatives.

The role partners with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering to resolve issues, support new product introduction, and deliver measurable productivity and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3–5+ years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with process mapping, documentation, and measuring improvement impact.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and workflows.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Lead improvement projects to reduce waste, improve quality, and lower costs.
• Collaborate with design engineering and production teams to enhance manufacturability.
• Document performance and track productivity, cycle times, and improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and prioritize work to meet production needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and implement new processes.
