Job summary

Isolvedhire is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes across the production floor. You will work with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include analyzing data, leading root cause analyses, creating SOPs and control plans, supporting new equipment installations and line launches, and identifying automation opportunities to improve performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years in process engineering in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience supporting high-volume production operations.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering preferred; Six Sigma certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to achieve production, quality, and cost objectives.
• Analyze production data and process performance to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and waste reduction.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues, quality concerns, and equipment downtime.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, process flow charts, and control plans.
• Support new equipment installation, process validation, and production line launches.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to ensure process capability and compliance with customer requirements.
• Participate in APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and other quality system activities as required.
• Conduct time studies and line balancing activities to optimize labor and equipment utilization.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend automation opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor key process indicators and implement corrective actions when performance targets are not achieved.
