Prysmian seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer in the Manchester plant to lead process improvements, cost estimation, and equipment upgrades. You will partner with Operations, Quality, and vendors to align safety, cost control, and startup timing while drafting operating instructions for supervisors and operators.

Strong data-analysis and project-management skills, plus Six Sigma/Lean familiarity, help deliver measurable productivity gains and sustainable manufacturing improvements in a split

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred).
• 2–3 years of engineering experience in cable manufacturing is desirable.
• Demonstrated skill in data analysis and project management.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing improvement projects, including cost estimation, design/specs, approvals, procurement, installation and startup.
• Ensure safety, cost control, and timely delivery aligned with Plant and organizational objectives.
• Deliver measurable productivity gains and KPI performance as defined by Plant/Process Engineering managers.
• Collaborate with Operations to resolve manufacturing problems and drive productivity initiatives.
• Create and roll out cost-reduction programs, quality improvements, and inventory optimization.
