Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Process Engineer to initiate and coordinate manufacturing process improvements. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead projects to reduce costs, eliminate bottlenecks, and streamline operations at the Manchester facility.

You will provide technical guidance to supervisors and operators while ensuring quality and efficiency. The role focuses on standardizing processes, supporting testing of materials and products, and driving World Class Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred).
• 2–3 years engineering experience in cable manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis and project management skills; familiarity with six sigma and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects including cost estimations, designs, approvals, procurement and startup to achieve objectives.
• Advise on annual capital and expense budgets for management review.
• Collaborate with Operations to solve manufacturing problems and drive productivity improvements.
• Develop and implement programs to reduce costs, improve quality, reduce scrap and optimize cycles.
