Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Milwaukee area client. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and improving factory processes as the link between design engineering and production.

You will drive production capability, quality, cost reduction, safety, and throughput improvements, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Excellent growth opportunities exist in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering with 1–6 years in manufacturing engineering (3.0+ GPA if under 3 years).
• Proficient in CAD/CAM and data tools; Creo/Pro-E preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma concepts.
• Experience with production line layout is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Plan, support, and lead product introductions on the manufacturing floor; integrate new products into existing lines with PFMEA and line efficiency.
• Develop operation methods standards for assembly.
• Apply Lean concepts to reduce waste in manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot production line issues.
• Lead initiatives to mitigate risk, maintain ISO compliance, and reduce costs.
• Lead design initiatives within manufacturing processes, including line layout, tooling, and part flow.
