Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Milwaukee area to develop, implement, and improve factory processes. You will bridge design engineering and the production floor to enable new products and changes to existing lines.

The role focuses on maintaining production capability, improving quality, reducing cost, enhancing safety, and maximizing throughput, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Excellent growth opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

BS Engineering with 1–6 years of manufacturing engineering experience; 3.0+ GPA if under 3 years.
Proficient CAD skills (Creo/Pro-E), Word, Excel, and Access.
Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma.
Experience with production line layout is a plus

Responsibilities

Plan, support, and lead introduction of products to the manufacturing floor; manage integration of new products into lines; understand new processes, PFMEA and line efficiency.
Develop operation method standards for best assembly practices.
Apply Lean concepts and continuous improvement to reduce waste in manufacturing.
Troubleshoot production line problems.
Lead cost reduction and ISO compliance initiatives.
Lead design initiatives including line/cell layout, tooling, and part flow.
Justify capital equipment investments.
Advance safety and ergonomic practices
