Job summary

Top Echelon Software in Milwaukee seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement and improve production processes that connect design engineering to the floor. You will help introduce new products, optimize line balance, PFMEA and line efficiency while reducing costs and improving safety.

Responsibilities include leading process improvements, supporting ISO compliance, and advancing safety and ergonomic practices.

Qualifications

BS Engineering and 1 to 6 years of experience in manufacturing engineering (if under 3 years' experience 3.0+ GPA is needed)
Proficient CAD skills including Creo/Pro-E, Word, Excel, and Access
Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma
Experience with production line layout would be very helpful

Responsibilities

Plan, support, and lead introduction of products to the manufacturing floor. Manages the integration of new products into existing lines with an understanding of new processes effect on balance, pFMEA, and line efficiency.
Develop Operation Method Standards (i.e. how best to assemble products)
Uses advanced understanding of Lean Concepts and continuous improvement needed for reduction of waste within manufacturing processes
Troubleshoot production line problems
Lead initiatives that mitigate risk, maintain ISO compliance and reduce costs
Lead design initiatives within the manufacturing process, including line / cell layout, tooling, and part flow
Capital equipment justification
Work to advance safety and ergonomic practices
