Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar internships/co‑ops.
• No relocation is offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident for export-controlled work.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Ergonomics, and Management of Change activities to meet site safety goals.
• Generate and revise Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Work Instructions.
• Identify new tooling needs and maintain tooling, gauging, and test equipment.
• Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) and Overall Process Effectiveness (OPE) improvements.
• Support proposal development – ME hours and risk assessment.
• Provide timely support in resolving manufacturing issues.
• Responsible for Work Cell Design, Integration and Validation.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to reduce waste and improve KPIs.
• Support 5S and visual management in manufacturing areas.
• Support Product Conformance and Configuration Control requirements.
