Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. in Moraine, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for improving pretreatment product quality, reducing waste, and increasing throughput in the tempering furnace line.

You will analyze and improve manufacturing processes, support new equipment installation, lead process validation, and collaborate with quality, maintenance, and production teams to monitor KPIs such as cycle time, yield and downtime, driving lean initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• English and/or Mandarin in the workplace; reading and understanding safety and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to interpret instructions in charts, schedules and other formats.
• Strong communication and leadership with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop, implement, and optimize production workflows, layouts, and SOPs.
• Support new equipment installation and lead process validation.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and production to solve problems.
• Monitor and report KPIs such as cycle time, yield, and downtime.
• Support launches of new automotive glass products and ensure smooth mass production entry.
• Implement lean production and continuous improvement programs (e.g., 5S, Six Sigma).
• Perform other assigned duties.
