Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. in Moraine, OH seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for the Tempering Pre-Assembly Department to improve pretreatment quality and reduce scrap while optimizing production flows.

You will analyze processes, support equipment installations, and lead Lean initiatives such as Kaizen and 5S. You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams and monitor KPIs like cycle time and yield to ensure smooth mass production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience with Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop, implement, and optimize production workflows and standard work.
• Support new equipment installation and lead process validation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs such as cycle time, yield, and downtime.
