Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Bossier City, LA for a contract-to-hire role onsite. You will design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes, lead CapEx initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to boost productivity, quality, and safety using lean methods and data-driven analysis.

The role emphasizes cycle time, takt time, and capacity analyses, plus development of work instructions and standardized processes to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain manufacturing processes across the assigned value stream.
• Develop and optimize process layouts to improve flow and reduce waste.
• Lead CapEx projects from concept through implementation.
• Apply project management to plan, coordinate, and track activities.
• Conduct cycle time, takt time, and capacity analyses to identify bottlenecks.
