Job summary

CK Power, a family-owned provider of off-highway power solutions, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in St. Louis, MO.

The role designs and optimizes manufacturing processes using lean ideas, develops workstation layouts, tooling, and work instructions, and leads capital projects with tight timelines. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Manufacturing preferred) and 2+ years in Manufacturing Engineering, with strong problem-solving, communication, and ERP/SolidWorks skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Engineering Degree; Manufacturing discipline preferred.
• 2+ years in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge in manufacturing process and floor improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to tackle multi-disciplinary problems and work hands-on.
• Continuous improvement mindset with focus on excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design process improvements to reduce cost, cycle times and improve quality.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to material, process or personnel.
• Assist in current and future capital projects with timelines and cost constraints.
• Plan, design and assess workstations, fixturing and tooling.
• Document processes and train hourly and salary employees.
• Use SolidWorks CAD in tooling design and layouts.
• Develop and apply engineering standards and procedures.
