Job summary

Banner Engineering is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations at our Plymouth, MN facility. You will optimize ongoing manufacturing processes and support new product launches and transfers.

The role reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Director and requires Lean, DFA/DFM know-how, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve cost, quality, and efficiency goals.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in PTC Creo or Pro/E.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate with post-product launch teams to address production manufacturability, cost, and yield issues.
• Provide line support to assigned lines for yield improvement and problem solving.
• Create labor estimates, time standards, routings, and documentation.
• Research new production technologies to support cost and quality initiatives.
• Lead DOE, Gage R&R and process qualification activities.
