Job summary
Banner Engineering seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations Engineering team in Minnesota, supporting New Product Development and production operations. You will be a strong contributing member in a collaborative environment while also finding autonomy to drive improvements.
In this role you will optimize manufacturing operations and support new product launches and transfers. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and involves working with cross-functional
Qualifications
- BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering preferred, or similar.
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with fixture, equipment and automation specification and deployment.
- Ability to identify features to meet production cost and yield goals.
- Experience with DOE, FMEA, and Gage R&R.
Responsibilities
- Lead New Product Introduction with design and manufacturing integration.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes and line layouts.
- Perform DOE and Gage R&R to optimize system control.
- Provide line support for yield improvement and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate maintenance of manufacturing equipment and implement process improvements.
