Job summary

Banner Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Plymouth, MN. You will lead mechanical design from concept through release for industrial electronic products, ensuring environmental robustness and design for manufacturability.

You will collaborate across engineering disciplines, perform tolerance analyses, support supplier qualification, and develop detailed documentation including BOMs and ECOs. A strong background in Creo and manufacturing processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of related engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of parametric modeling in Creo and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of new and existing products from concept to release.
• Design parts for IP, shock, vibration, and assembly.
• Develop and execute product testing plans.
• Create BOMs, ECOs, and design verification reports.
• Collaborate with suppliers during DFM.
