Xylem is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Morton Grove, IL facility. This onsite role operates on the second shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and focuses on improving safety, quality, productivity, and delivery performance on the production floor.

You will lead process improvements, capital projects, tooling optimization, and labor optimization. The job requires Lean/Six Sigma experience, PFMEA, and collaboration with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive cost savings and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years in manufacturing engineering (machining, assembly, welding, or industrial manufacturing).
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.

Responsabilités

Drive process improvements, capital projects, and equipment optimization on the floor.
Develop efficient processes, routings, tooling, and production standards.
Analyze bottlenecks to improve throughput, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
Monitor OEE and production performance metrics.
