Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Training Specialist at the Morton Grove site to support the implementation and execution of employee training programs. You will coordinate delivery, update training modules, manage records, and monitor completion to ensure safe, efficient performance aligned with standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with site leadership, SMEs, and manufacturing teams to improve training processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing tech, educational tech, or adult education.
• Experience developing and delivering technical and safety training in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with safety and quality regulations in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support the site's training plan and ensure activities meet priorities and schedules.
• Coordinate training with supervisors, SMEs, and partners for onboarding and cross-training.
• Create, revise, and maintain training modules, materials, and assessments.
• Deliver classroom, hands-on, and OJT to manufacturing staff as needed.
• Track participation, completion, and qualifications of employees.
• Monitor training fulfillment and notify stakeholders of gaps.
• Assist onboarding to ensure safe and effective job performance.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze training data to drive program improvements.
• Standardize training content and delivery across departments.
