Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, oversee capital investments, and implement systems that boost productivity, quality, and safety. Responsibilities include analyzing drawings to prepare routings, cost estimation with Purchasing, maintaining SOPs and ISO docs, and supporting new technologies such as vision systems and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, IT Management, or related field.
• 4 years of manufacturing engineering experience with machining, assembly, welding, and lean tools.
• Experience with CNC programming and Vericut simulation.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or CREO and AutoCAD for 3D/2D layouts.
• Knowledge of lean six sigma and 5S.
• Experience with PLC logic and manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes; administer capital investments; implement systems to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to prepare routings with optimal instructions, tooling, and costs.
• Perform cost estimates with purchasing and suppliers, considering lead times.
• Create and maintain SOPs, ISO docs, and WPS/PQR files; utilize Vuforia AR for instructions.
• Support new technologies including vision systems and AI tools.
• Maintain facility and work cell layouts in AutoCAD with pallet racking and guarding.
• Optimize CNC programs using Creo and Vericut.
• Prepare capital/expense proposals and plant layout modifications aligned with business objectives.
