Job summary

Xylem is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead two Holland, Michigan facilities serving ~250 employees. You will manage a small team of two Manufacturing Engineers, partner with Operations and Product Design Engineering to improve manufacturability and drive capital projects.

You will champion Lean, safety, quality, and cost improvements, oversee CAPEX planning and execution, and mentor engineering staff while ensuring smooth product introductions and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering/ops engineering experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership or leading cross-functional projects.
• Experience leading manufacturing process improvements and Lean initiatives.
• CAPEX project management from planning through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of two Manufacturing Engineers.
• Plan, justify, and execute CAPEX projects with budgets and schedules.
• Drive Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Product Design Engineering teams.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes while ensuring manufacturing readiness.
• Oversee facility maintenance strategies and collaborate with vendors.
