Job summary

Stellar Energy is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to help bring modular cooling technology to market and optimize current production. This role emphasizes lean principles, cross-functional collaboration, and safer, more efficient plant operations in Jacksonville, FL or Fort Worth, TX.

You will lead process development, design work cells and layouts, and mentor teammates, while supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Some travel up to 20% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement practices.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate across teams.
• CAD software: SolidWorks or equivalent; AutoCAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of manufacturing processes for Modular cooling products.
• Design and implement gauging, material handling, work cells, and plant layouts.
• Lead or support complex manufacturing and process improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes to improve performance and reliability.
• Analyze SPC data and implement process changes as needed.
• Manage equipment, supplier, and service contracts onsite.
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and capital justifications for improvements.
• Support asset care, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop PFMEAs, method sheets, MES, and equipment programming files.
• Investigate ergonomic, safety, quality, and process concerns.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align with standards and customer expectations.
• Mentor and train team members to foster safety and continuous improvement.
