Job summary

Hangzhou GreatStar Industrial, Ltd. seeks a detail-minded Manufacturing Engineer to join our Saddle Brook, NJ operation.

You will design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes from concept to production, aiming to boost efficiency, cut costs, and enhance product quality while maintaining a safe workplace. You will collaborate with quality, design, and operations teams to drive continuous improvements across assembly, stamping, heat treating, and plating processes, including automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering discipline.
• 0–2 years experience in manufacturing or production environments is a strong plus.
• Experience with data analysis and Excel; familiarity with statistical tools is a plus.
• Foundational knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Understanding of machine controls and integration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop processes to meet budgetary goals and KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to advance projects.
• Design and develop new production equipment to improve processes.
• Specify and implement automation systems (e.g., robotics).
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaboration.
• Support TPM activities and track equipment reliability metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement events and drive results.
• Improve workflow, layout, and space planning for efficiency.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Manage multiple projects with schedules and budgets.
