Job summary

Mindscope is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, layouts, and procedures to achieve production goals. You will lead cost-conscious improvements, including automation, tooling upgrades, and workflow optimizations.

You will conduct time and motion studies, analyze capacity and efficiency, and collaborate with design engineers and production managers to ensure seamless integration of processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of machining, assembly, fabrication and automation.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and simulation tools.
• Data-driven decision making and process control expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve manufacturing processes to meet production goals.
• Identify cost-saving process improvements including automation.
• Conduct time and motion studies to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with design and production teams for seamless integration.
• Provide technical support to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Investigate process failures and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement lean tools.
• Perform process audits and track progress for improvements.
• Evaluate and recommend new equipment and technologies.
