Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 35 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• ERP experience, including BOMs and routings (Syteline or SAP preferred).
• Experience leading process improvements and continuous improvement projects.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Comfortable working on the production floor and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes that increase productivity, quality, and safety.
• Lead new product launches from prototype through full production.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing work instructions.
• Lead capital equipment projects from concept and justification through installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Develop automated and semiautomated manufacturing solutions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events, 5S, waste reduction, and process optimization.
• Analyze production data to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and increase efficiency.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Create ERP routings, BOMs, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Provide technical support for customer quotations, manufacturing feasibility, and project proposals.
• Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Sales to improve plant performance.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 quality initiatives and OSHA safety programs.
