Job summary

Weiler Abrasives Group seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead capital investment and manufacturing improvement initiatives across our facilities. You will oversee scope, schedules, budgets, and risk, coordinating suppliers, contractors, and manufacturing teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

You will also drive process design and optimization, equipment validation, and product launches, while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 8–10 years engineering experience in manufacturing/operations.
• Experience leading capital projects and manufacturing process improvements.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital investment and manufacturing improvement projects from scope development through implementation and project closure.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders including suppliers, contractors, consultants, and manufacturing teams.
• Monitor project performance against timelines, budgets, and key deliverables.
• Manage equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, validation, and production startup activities.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for leadership review.
• Support new product introductions and production transfers between facilities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
