Job summary

Honda South Carolina Manufacturing is seeking a results-oriented engineer to lead, create, and implement innovative technical activities in Mass Production, Business Plan and New Model areas. You will work across teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale targets while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires strong data analytics, problem solving, and the ability to manage projects with budget and schedule responsibility.

Qualifications

• Engineering or engineering technology degree required.
• 0-6 years’ experience; co-op acceptable.
• Computer literacy with standard software.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data and implement countermeasures.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate across organization to align direction.
• Review daily reports to identify safety/quality/delivery gaps.
• Use data analysis and PDCA to drive solutions.
• Monitor equipment and processes for optimal performance.
• Develop team capabilities through training and mentoring.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Test and implement new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Develop investment budgets to meet cost targets.
