Job summary

Honda South Carolina Manufacturing is seeking a manufacturing-minded leader to drive mass production, business planning and new model activities. You will leverage data analytics to target safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale, while guiding projects and teams through PDCA cycles.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, budget stewardship, and adoption of innovative tech to improve overall equipment and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with manufacturing relevance.
• 0-6 years’ experience depending on education; co-op experience valued but not required.
• Computer literacy to support standard software in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate up and down the organization to align on direction and goals.
• Review daily reports to identify safety, quality, delivery gaps and countermeasures.
• Use data analysis and PDCA to justify solutions with related teams.
• Monitor equipment and processes to optimize performance and cost.
• Develop self and team through training and mentoring in technical areas.
• Set priorities and decisions based on data to meet objectives.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget and resources.
• Test and implement new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Develop and manage budgets to hit cost targets.
