Job summary

Trane Technologies in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, design flow lines, and lead safe, cost-effective improvements. You will resolve process and design issues, work with cross-functional teams, and drive efficiency and quality initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring PFMEA experience, a manufacturing background, and programming knowledge (C/C++, SQL) with a growth mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
• Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
• Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
• Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
• Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
• Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
• Partner with on-site EHS to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations.
• Lead hands-on factory project implementation, maintain support and upgrade as needed.

Where Is The Work

On-Site (5 days) Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in Pueblo, CO. In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.

What You Will Do

• Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
• Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
• Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
• Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
• Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
• Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
• Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
• Lead hands-on factory project implementation, maintain support and upgrade as needed, all Panel, Frame, HiPot and End-of-line electrical testers.

What You Will Bring

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PFMEA experience preferred.

• Emphasis on computer programming or related experience is beneficial, particularly in C, C++. Experience working in SQL environments. Experience creating and executing API, GUI, etc.
