Job summary

Regal Rexnord - Aerospace Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to implement and improve manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate specifications into process and tooling designs and drive cost and lead-time reductions.

The role emphasizes kaizen, lean, and statistical methods, with responsibilities including project planning, vendor coordination, and supporting equipment validation in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience coordinating complex projects and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with kaizen, lean, standard work, mistake-proofing, SPC, and FMEA.
• Experience in verification and validation of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with equipment or tooling design and fabrication.
• Mechanical design and 3D modeling; 2D detail drawing creation.

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed specifications for process, equipment, or tooling to meet objectives.
• Develops runoff and validation plans for process, equipment, or tooling.
• Leads process improvements to reduce waste, cost, and lead time.
• Maintains project schedules and critical-path delivery.
• Partners with tooling and equipment suppliers for project goals.
• Forecasts budgets for Capital Investment Projects.
• Leads kaizen activities and cross-functional project teams.
• Mentors engineers and technicians; supports equipment validation.
