Job summary

Phoenix Tailings in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to own and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and production improvements as we scale critical metals production.

You will work on systems moving technology from development to repeatable manufacturing, identify problems, develop practical solutions, and drive gains in throughput, quality, reliability, safety, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing/process/production engineering.
• Experience troubleshooting processes or equipment and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience designing or improving tooling, fixtures, or production processes.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings; CAD experience preferred.
• Experience using data, trials, or process validation to improve performance.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear a respirator when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and production improvements.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and equipment modifications to improve manufacturability.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for complex issues.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and capacity limits.
• Translate new process technologies into robust methods and documentation.
• Lead portions of equipment specification, installation, and ramp-up.
• Plan and execute engineering trials and process validation efforts.
