Job summary

Phoenix Tailings is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design and deploy innovative systems for high-temperature electrolysis and critical metals production. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of experience.

You will work hands-on in a fast-paced R&D environment, developing processing equipment and driving design improvements to meet industry challenges. Benefits include unlimited PTO, 100% healthcare coverage, and stock options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience designing complex equipment.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical tooling and equipment troubleshooting.

• Own mechanical systems from concept development through deployment.
• Design and develop processing equipment for high-temperature electrolysis.
• Execute verification and validation plans to ensure performance and reliability.
