Job summary

Phoenix Tailings is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to turn innovative process technology into reliable and scalable operations at our Exeter facility in New Hampshire. You will work closely with production equipment to improve throughput, quality, safety, and manufacturability.

This is an early-career role offering hands-on experience and impact on a new critical metals industry. Ideal candidates bring a hands-on mindset, strong problem solving, and the discipline to translate concepts from

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or related technical field.
0–3 years of hands-on manufacturing or process engineering experience is welcomed.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, manufacturing, or process-related problems and implement practical solutions.
Experience with manufacturing equipment, fabrication, tooling, fixtures, or CAD.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear a respirator for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes at Exeter facility.
Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment modifications to improve throughput and safety.
Troubleshoot issues on the production floor and implement durable solutions.
Translate new process technologies into repeatable procedures for higher volumes.
Support the specification, installation, commissioning, and improvement of new manufacturing equipment.
