Abbott in St. Paul, MN, is seeking an engineer to support the Manufacturing organization in the Vascular Devices division. You will help optimize production, monitor equipment performance, and ensure conformance to quality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Working technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices and procedures.
• Broad knowledge of technical alternatives and impact on systems environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports current manufacturing initiatives, including equipment or process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and formal investigation reports (CAPA).
• Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or process for current and next generation programs.
• Prepares reports, publishes, and makes presentations to communicate findings.
• Analyzes and solves problems from basic engineering principles to complex problems requiring innovative approaches.
• Interacts with Quality and R&D to integrate new products or processes into manufacturing.
