Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• An equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 6 years related work experience with a strong understanding of the specified functional area.
• Wide application of technical principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships.
• Works in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved processes for current programs and next generation programs.
• Prepares reports, publishes, and makes presentations to communicate findings.
• Analyzes and solves problems from basic engineering principles through to complex problems requiring innovative approaches.
• Develops knowledge to become a recognized leader and apply it in leadership roles.
