Badger Meter, Inc. in Racine, WI is seeking an Engineer II, Manufacturing to advance new product development and sustain existing manufacturing processes.

You will integrate new product and process technologies, ensure manufacturability, troubleshoot, test, and lead projects on NPD teams as the subject matter expert for process capability. Work approximately 50% on the floor or lab and the remainder at a desk; travel up to 10% domestically and internationally; weekend work may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams on NPD initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot production issues and validate solutions.
• Serve as manufacturing lead on NPD teams and ensure manufacturability.
• Identify and implement manufacturing processes with design and operations teams.
• Support DFMA and Design for Automated Assembly efforts.
• Collaborate with external integrators on automation and equipment solutions.
• Apply project management to keep costs and timelines.
• Lead cost‑improvement projects using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Ensure product quality via SPC and solid documentation.
• Prepare financial analyses and capital justifications.
