Job summary

Relativity Space is hiring for a Stage Manufacturing hardware role focused on building and qualifying Terran R vehicle sub-systems. You will own hardware design release through build, test, and delivery, developing detailed build flows and test procedures to enable scalable, high-quality production.

You will work across design, manufacturing, supply chain and test teams, applying CAD/GD&T and hands-on problem solving to improve processes and ensure readiness for higher production rates.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 2+ years hands-on hardware experience in manufacturing or integration.
• Investigate hardware issues and drive root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Familiar with assembly and test procedures, tolerance stack-up, pressure tests.
• Collaborate across design, manufacturing, supply chain and test teams.
• Self-starter able to define and roll out new processes from scratch.
• Proficient in GD&T, CAD, and basic design/test analysis; two of LOX cleanliness, leak checks, sensor checkouts, tube bending, tool design, crane operations, or subassembly builds.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware from design release through build, test, and delivery for vehicle sub-systems.
• Develop and release build flows, work instructions, and test procedures.
• Provide hands-on floor support, resolve issues in real time, drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate across design, supply chain, production, and test teams for readiness and handoffs.
• Develop manufacturing systems and infrastructure, including tooling strategies and production documentation.
