Trijicon, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to develop and optimize manufacturing methods, participate in design-to-launch activities, and implement process improvements on the shop floor.

The role requires hands-on engineering on the floor, reading drawings, PFMEA and control plans, collaboration with vendors, and strong problem-solving.

Candidates should have a degree in Manufacturing Engineering and solid knowledge of lean principles.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.

Mansioni

• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
• Provide creative engineering, technical and practical support in resolving problems, product complaints and safety issues.
• Investigate and solve problems during assembly to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings, and processes and generate written protocols and reports.
• Develop PFMEA's and control plans.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize workload and meet deadlines with a problem-solving mindset.
• Coordinate with vendors to determine specifications and arrange purchases of equipment, materials, or parts; evaluate products to improve manufacturing processes.
• Support Project Management from design through product launch.
• Ensure ISO paperwork is complete at milestones.
